I love the idea of gamification as well, and I've been doing subconsciously probably since reading the book The Game of Work (given to me by my dad). I even started Flow and Zone to distribute lifehacker / self-help games I've created:

Child freindly is one thing but we there were way too many kids, couldn't hear ourselves think. Was more like Mcdonalds than a pub. Food was nice, but the staff seemed to prefer milling around doing very little it seemed

Service was poor (both times I went) and they got the order wrong! So slow and staff looked like they would rather be somewhere else! The floors and tables were flithy and sticky too! Wont be coming back.

Had been coming here periodically for the past 6 months or so but now more.

I was sitting my 2 and 3 year old daughters down on a couch and having barely managed to give them a juicebox and before I could even get up to the bar to by myself a pint, one of the barman had swooped over to us and and started cutting into how rude I was for having the audacity to give my children a bit of a snack in his "child friendly" establishment from "the outside" (I have NEVER had a problem doing this ANYWHERE in Brighton, or London, or England, Spain, Italy, France, or the US in the past couple years. Not a single bar, restaurant, pub, you name it.

I could go on and on about the conversation I had with this guy (he even had the cheek to admit he also had a 2 year-old - and no, they don't offer juice boxes or any means of serving up a 2 year old in a child friendly way), but it's hardly worth my breath. I nor my wife nor kids nor any friends I have in the area will be going into this place again.

I won't even go into the time we ordered a "child snack box" (as they don't have any child friendly meals - unless you count icecream) that they allegedly had to go off-site to get because they didn't have any and we left after 45 minutes empty handed.

Absolutely dreadful. Horrible aggressive and rude man. 2 hour wait for food that didn't arrive on 2nd visit. Food poisoning was the added extra on he 1st! Steer clear!

Great idea but the food is inconsistent. Once waited for an hour for pizza despite pub being empty, second time ordered vegetarian platter with focaccia and got meat platter with ciabatta!! Last time Issa dough was so hard you could have played frisbee with it!! Shame they cannot get it right after 3 months being opened!! Martin Webb needs to get it right!!!
